ARM 아키텍처 기반의 서버에 대해 사람들이 이야기한 것은 아주 오래된 이야기이고, Google 의 Urs Hölzle 가 IEEE Micro에 기고한 Brawny cores still beat wimpy cores, most of the time 라는 글이 2010년이었군요.
Slower but energy efficient “wimpy” cores only win for general workloads if their single-core speed is reasonably close to that of mid-range “brawny” cores.
당시에도 위와 같이 조건을 달았으니, 예상이 틀리지는 않은 셈입니다.
